How hard are they

Every board here was graded by the reasoning it actually needs, and a solver walked each one to the end before it was kept. None of them needs a guess, and none of them needs a rule you have not been told.

• 6 × 620, to start onthe moves you can see at a glance: a pair settles the cells beside it, a gap takes the other digit, and a line that already has all of one digit is finished.
• 8 × 860the same, and once or twice a whole line read at once — holding a row against every way it could still be filled.
• 10 × 1070a line read whole more often, and further into the board.
• 12 × 1250, at the backall of that, and the rule the smaller boards never need: no two rows and no two columns may read the same.
