Word search

Cross out every word — the letters left over spell one more.

A word search with one difference: there is no list beside the grid. Every word hidden in it has five letters and runs along a row, a column or a diagonal, about a third of them backwards. Every five-letter word you can make out, either way round, is one of them: the board tells you only how many there are. Drag across a word, or tap the letters at its two ends, and it is ringed.

When every word is crossed out, five letters are left over; read row by row, they spell the hidden word. One grid a day, the same for everybody, in the language you are reading the site in. No timer and no account needed: a grid left half-done waits for you until the day turns, at midnight UTC.

There is no list. The board says how many words there are, and every five-letter word you can read in it, either way round, is one of them.

When every word is crossed out, five letters are left. Read row by row, they spell the hidden word.

Drag across a word from either end, or tap the letters at its two ends. A small arrow on its ring shows which way it reads.

Solved: every word crossed out, and the five letters left over spell LIVED.
