Printable Killer Sudoku
Killer Sudoku is a sudoku with no digits given. Fill the grid so that every row, column and 3 × 3 box holds the digits 1 to 9 once, and so that the digits in each dashed cage add up to the small number in its corner, with no digit twice in a cage. The cages and their sums are the whole puzzle.
Every day there is a new board at each of three levels, dealt to everybody alike and solvable without a single guess. Pick a level, print the sheet, and take it wherever a screen would not go — a pencil is all it takes.

How to play
Fill the grid so every row, every column and every 3 × 3 box holds the digits 1–9, each exactly once.
The dashed outlines are cages: the digits in a cage add up to the small number in its corner, and no digit repeats within a cage.
No digit is given. The sums are enough: there is exactly one solution, and it never needs a guess.
Tap a cell and pick a digit on the pad under the board; the same digit again clears it. With notes on, digits are pencilled small in the cell instead. Under the pad: the selected cage’s combinations, and a calculator for adding up sums.
A reddish cell holds a digit its row, column, box or cage already has, or sits in a cage whose sum has gone wrong; a cage’s sum and outline grey out once it is done.
Questions people ask
- Is it free?
- Yes. The sheets, the boards on the site and the archive are free, without an account and without advertising. The PDFs are made once a day and anyone may download them.
- How many puzzles are there a day?
- One new board a day at each level — Gentle, Steady, and Tricky — the same for everybody, dealt at midnight UTC. Earlier days stay downloadable in the archive below.
- Do I need to sign up?
- No. Every sheet downloads without an account. An account only keeps your online plays and your streak in one place across your devices.
- Does every puzzle have exactly one solution?
- Yes. Every board is checked to have a single solution and to be solvable by reasoning alone — no guessing is ever needed. The solution is not printed; the sheet holds the puzzle and the rules.
- May I hand the sheets out or use them in a classroom?
- Yes — print, photocopy and hand them out as you like, for a class, a club or a waiting room. Only leave the credit line at the foot of the sheet where it is.
